This is me staying home from book club so I can spend more time with Britton. It was a nice thought!
And thus we see the consequences of not planning. Renee left on her own gets sucked into looking at a lot of blogs while leaving very few comments behind. Britton left on his own is very productive, and quickly becomes an aeronautical zombie in the "zone". Very few things can get his attention while he's in the nerd zone. One of them is dessert which I'm supposed to be making. But I don't see how I could possibly do this since there is absolutely NO chocolate in the house. We'll have to settle for some fake Crystal Light. Next time I stay home I'll have to make a plan to avoid getting sucked into the computer.

I have to admit I've never actually made it to a book club before. I always mean to go, but never do. Probably because I never read the book. I am reading on my own now though. Maybe the next book club will be a discussion on The Brothers Karamazov, and I'll actually go.
There is either blog club, the fascinating reading of the little things (or the big things) in life.
Or-- there is book club the scrutiny of the little (or big) ideas in a book.
Actually, I love to read, and it is fun to see what others are thinking about books, but sometimes the blog world can be so entertaining.
Hope everything ing going well for you two and the little one!
We have our own Book Club in Law School. This month we're reading Friedenthal, Miller, Sexton, and Hershkoff's brilliant piece: "Civil Procedure: Cases and Materials." Personally, I found the book rather monotonous and largely plagiarized from the works of various judges, courts, and law professors.
Dostoevsky...I'm impressed, let me know if you finish it and what you think. I tried ONE of his books (Crime & Punishment) and could not force myself to finish it; too dismal. Personally, I think the Wikipedia overview is just fine for those classics you think you "should" read, but can't quite make yourself do so. ;-) I'm in need of light reading...any suggestions?
Are you kidding! I hear Friedenthal, Miller, Sexton, and Hershkoff's piece is EXCELLENT...as toilet paper! HAHAHAHAHA! I wish Britton was here to laugh with me. Well, I'm just grateful some people get excited about the law.
By the way Tia, I just finished the Brothers Karamazkhalouv, and although I thought the ending left you hanging, I definitely enjoyed it a LOT more than Crime and Punishment.
fatness. Well Done.
For the record, I got an A on this homework...
You are a studmo.
You left your watch again at the house.
