Will has been taking his sweet time deciding what color his eyes will be. They have been a dark blue color for a long time, and just recently they got a little brown in the center. It would be kind of fun if they stayed the blue/brown combo. What would he put on his driver's license? Hazel? I've been trying to figure out this hazel thing for a while and it seems like that's just what they call eyes when they don't fit in any other category. Eye mutts if you will. According to Wikipedia there have also been cases of violet eyes, eyes without irises (look completely black), and blue/brown eyes. So there's a chance Will could keep his crazy combo.

Waiting
Will has been taking his sweet time deciding what color his eyes will be. They have been a dark blue color for a long time, and just recently they got a little brown in the center. Nick (our son) has one blue, now almost a little green and one brown eye... we have contemplated the same problem, but are loving the uniqueness. :) Your boy is adorable though, looks so much like Britton. :)

We have a friend with one blue eye and one brown eye! Crazy huh? Will is adorable! It's been a little while since I checked your blog, and he is growing so fast! Cutest, chubiest legs ever!

Harrumph...my eyes are hazel (which is green wikipedia be darned); "eye mutts" indeed! heh. Whatever Will-wum's eye color, he's gorgeous as always.
I knew someone would be riled up about the eye-mutt comment. I didn't really mean it:) I think most eyes are more complicated than the traditional blue/brown/green/hazel labels. I don't know very many people who have just plain blue and no other color eyes. But it seems like if you claim to have a mix of any color in your eye you're labeled hazel.
I didn't watch all of the movie 21, but I thought I saw that the lead girl character had one blue and one brown eye. Anyone else notice? Ah, Wikipedia says that she was born with one blue eye and a hazel section in the bottom of her other blue eye. I thought maybe she just forgot a contact or something!
